Kevin Spacey is now seeking evaluation and treatment.

A representative for the 58-year-old actor confirmed the news on Wednesday night (November 1).

Kevin Spacey is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment. No other information is available at this time,” his rep told Variety.

Kevin‘s decision to seek treatment follows Anthony Rapp‘s explosive allegation that Kevin made a pass at him when Anthony was just 14 years old. Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos and filmmaker Tony Montana have since come forth with allegations of their own.

Kevin was faced with furious backlash upon issuing his response to Anthony‘s allegations, and was criticized for seemingly coming out as a gay man as a way to deflect from the allegation at hand.

'This Is Us' Removes Kevin Spacey Reference from Upcoming Episode

This Is Us has decided to take out a Kevin Spacey reference from tonight’s episode.

On Tuesday’s episode (October 31), the 58-year-old House of Cards actor was set to be mentioned in a flashback scene where Kevin’s (Justin Hartley) roommate lands a role in a new Spacey film and invites Kevin to the director’s party. That line will not be aired in tonight’s episode.

Spacey is being accused of sexually harassing a then-fourteen year old Anthony Rapp, before releasing public apology where he came out as gay at the same time, which caused outrage on social media.

“In light of recent events, the producers have decided to remove the brief reference to Kevin Spacey,” the show’s production studio 20th Century Fox Television said in a statement on Tuesday.

This Is Us airs on Tuesday nights on NBC.

'House of Cards' Production Suspended Amid Kevin Spacey Allegations

In light of the allegations that Kevin Spacey sexually harassed a then-fourteen year old Anthony Rapp, production on House of Cards has been suspended indefinitely.

“MRC and Netflix have decided to suspend production on House of Cards season six, until further notice, to give us time to review the current situation and to address any concerns of our cast and crew,” Netflix and production company MRC said in a statement (via EW).

Spacey released a public apology on Sunday night and he also came out as gay at the same time, which caused outrage on social media.

Yesterday, Netflix announced that House of Cards would be ending with its sixth season, originally set to air next year. The future now remains unclear.

Kevin Spacey will not be receiving his 2017 International Emmy Founders Award.

The International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences made the announcement via Twitter on Monday (October 30).

The news comes one day after Rent actor Anthony Rapp accused the 58-year-old House of Cards actor of making a sexual advance toward him when he was a teenager.

Kevin then issued a public apology while revealing that he is gay.

The award was scheduled to be presented at the International Emmy Awards Gala on November 20 in New York City.

Anthony Rapp is opening up about his decision to come forward with his story about Kevin Spacey allegedly making a sexual advance toward him when he was just a teenager.

The 46-year-old actor, best known for originating the role of Mark in Rent and starring in Star Trek: Discovery, alleged that Spacey tried to seduce him when they were alone in his apartment after a party in 1986.

“I came forward with my story, standing on the shoulders of the many courageous women and men who have been speaking out, to shine a light and hopefully make a difference, as they have done for me,” Anthony said in a statement to People. “Everything I wanted to say about my experience is in that [BuzzFeed] article, and I have no further comment about it at this time.”

Netflix Is 'Deeply Troubled' By Kevin Spacey Allegations

Netflix has released a statement in response to the allegations made against House of CardsKevin Spacey by Anthony Rapp regarding sexual misconduct years ago when Anthony was only 14.

“Media Rights Capital and Netflix are deeply troubled by last night’s news concerning Kevin Spacey,” Netflix and House of Cards producer Media Rights Capital said in a statement (via Variety). “In response to last night’s revelations, executives from both of our companies arrived in Baltimore this afternoon to meet with our cast and crew to ensure that they continue to feel safe and supported. As previously scheduled, Kevin Spacey is not working on set at this time.”

House of Cards was officially cancelled by Netflix earlier today.

Kevin since apologized, but his apology statement caused much controversy because he chose to come out as gay at the same time.
