Kevin Spacey Is Being Replaced in Upcoming Film 'All the Money in the World' Amid Sexual Assault Scandal

Kevin Spacey is being replaced by Christopher Plummer in the wake of the ongoing sexual assault scandal surrounding the 58-year-old actor.

Kevin was due to appear in the upcoming film All The Money In The World, but was replaced based on a decision made by director Ridley Scott, Sony confirmed to ABC News.

Most recently, Richard Dreyfuss‘ son Harry claimed that Kevin groped him when he was 18 years old.

Richard Dreyfuss' Son Harry Alleges Kevin Spacey Groped Him When He Was 18

Actor Richard Dreyfuss‘ son Harry is coming forward with his own story of Kevin Spacey‘s sexual misconduct.

In 2008, when Harry was 18 years old and a senior in high school, his father was in a play in London and Kevin was acting as director. Harry went to one of their rehearsals in Spacey‘s apartment.

During the rehearsal, Harry alleges that Spacey placed his hand on his thigh and slowly moved to his crotch.

“Over the course of about 20 seconds, centimeter by centimeter, Kevin crawled his hand from my thigh over toward my crotch. My mind went blank. Suddenly, he had completed his journey and now he had all of me in his hand. I stopped reading the script and my eyes went wide. I lifted up my head and faced him. Looking into his eyes, I gave the most meager shake of my head that I could manage. I was trying to warn him without alerting my dad, who still had his eyes glued to the page. I thought I was protecting everyone. I was protecting my dad’s career. I was protecting Kevin, who my dad surely would have tried to punch. I was protecting myself, because I thought one day I’d want to work with this man. Kevin had no reaction and kept his hand there. My eyes went back to the script and I kept reading,” Harry wrote in an editorial for Buzzfeed.

Spacey has now been accused of sexual misconduct multiple times over the course of several days, beginning with Anthony Rapp‘s brave reveal.

Netflix Severs Ties With 'House of Cards' Star Kevin Spacey

Kevin Spacey is officially parting ways with House of Cards and Netflix.

The 58-year-old actor and the streaming service will no longer be working together, following allegations of sexual assault.

In a statement, the company said that they will not be involved in production of the show while Kevin is included and will work with them during the show’s hiatus to figure out an alternative path.

“Netflix will not be involved with any further production of House of Cards that includes Kevin Spacey. We will continue to work with MRC during this hiatus time to evaluate our path forward as it relates to the show. We have also decided we will not be moving forward with the release of the film Gore, which was in post-production, starring and produced by Kevin Spacey,” Netflix said.

It is rumored that production on the show will resume production after Thanksgiving.

'House of Cards' Producers Are Considering Killing Off Kevin Spacey's Character

House of Cards are exploring different ways to get production of the show back on track following allegations against star Kevin Spacey.

According to Variety, producers are listening to fans suggestions to kill off Kevin‘s character, the villainous Frank Underwood.

This would have the show’s sixth and final season concentrate on his wife Claire, who is played by Robin Wright.

Producers are eager to find a way to move forward with the show as it employs nearly 300 cast and crew members. They are currently reviewing Kevin‘s contract to see if they can legally move forward without him.

There are also reportedly several spinoffs of the show in the works.

Kevin Spacey Dropped by Agent & Publicist Amid Allegations

Kevin Spacey has been dropped by both his talent agents at CAA and his publicist Staci Wolfe at Polaris amid allegations that he has sexually harassed and assaulted several men, some underage, over the years, according to Deadline.

The two-time Oscar-winning actor is in the midst of a very public scandal right now after actor Anthony Rapp came forward with an allegation of sexual assault when he was only 14.

In his response to the accusation, Spacey said he didn’t remember the incident and then came out as a gay man.

More people have come forward with allegations of sexual assault and harassment since then, including eight people who have worked on House of Cards.

Production on the hit Netflix series has been suspended indefinitely while the accusations are investigated.
