“Did I feel ashamed about some of the choices I made?” the 37-year-old former NBA player says in a preview clip for an episode of The Doctors. “I was basically just committing suicide.”
The Doctors is set to air this Tuesday (January 17).

“Going forward, when you look at your life ahead of you, what are you looking forward to?” host Dr. Travis Stork asked Lamar in newly released promo for The Doctors.
“Um, honestly, I want my wife back,” Lamar replied.

Lamar Odom is eyeing a return to the NBA.
The 37-year-old retired professional basketball player told TMZ on Monday (January 9) that he is hoping to return the his former Los Angeles Lakers team as a coach.
Lamar said that he’s reached out to Lakers coach Luke Walton about possibly joining the coaching staff of the team.
Over the weekend, Lamar checked himself out of rehab after completing a 35 day stint for preventive measures of a relapse.

Lamar Odom is leaving rehab after successfully completing 35-days in a program.
While in rehab, Lamar shared a photo on his Instagram of him with his kids.
Lamar will be heading back to his home in Los Angeles, and sources are saying that he is doing much better. We’re wishing Lamar the best.
“No better way to end 2016 than with my two favorite people #TheOdoms #RichSoil,” he captioned the sweet family photo.
Lamar has been in a 30-day rehab program since early December while he addresses issues that led to his near-fatal overdose.
We’re glad to see Lamar looking happy and healthy with his children!
Lamar Odom is opening up publicly for the first time about his near-death overdose.
The 37-year-old former basketball player sat down for an interview with Dr. Travis Stork from The Doctors to talk about how he nearly died from a drug overdose last year.
“I wasn’t in a good place mentally before that incident happened — my (ex) wife and I were going through some things. I was in a dark place but I guess they say everything happens for a reason. I guess the reason is I’m here so I can tell the story,” Lamar said.
Earlier this week, Lamar reportedly checked into rehab in order to “maintain his sobriety.”
