Netflix's 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' - Meet the Cast!

The day has arrived and Netflix has released all of the episodes from A Series of Unfortunate Events season one.

Neil Patrick Harris stars in the series as Count Olaf and there are some more great actors featured in the cast.

Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events recounts the tragic tale of the Baudelaire orphans — Violet, Klaus, and Sunny – whose evil guardian Count Olaf will stop at nothing to get his hands on their inheritance. The siblings must outsmart Olaf at every turn, foiling his many devious plans and disguises, in order to discover clues to their parents’ mysterious death.

Neil Patrick Harris Premieres 'Series of Unfortunate Events' in NYC!

Neil Patrick Harris attends the premiere of his new Netflix Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events on Wednesday (January 11) in New York City.

The 43-year-old actor was joined at the premiere by his co-stars – Baudelaire orphans Presley Smith, Malina Weissman, and Louis Hynes.

Other Series of Unfortunate Events cast members including Usman Ally, Matty Cardarople, Alfre Woodard, Aasif Mandvi, K Todd Freeman, Patrick Warburton also attended the premiere.

Neil was supported at the premiere by husband David Burtka and close friends Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

Series of Unfortunate Events airs on Netflix on this Friday (January 13).

Neil Patrick Harris, who stars as the sinister Count, takes on some incredible disguises in the clips as he attempts to get his hands on the Baudelaire orphans’ inheritance.

The eight-episode original series also stars Malina Weissman as Violet and Louis Hynes Klaus.

The Netflix original series is based on the best-selling books written by Lemony Snicket, aka Daniel Handler.

A Series of Unfortunate Events is set to premieres on January 13th, 2017 on Netflix.

Netflix's 'Series of Unfortunate Events' Casts Lead Roles!

Netflix‘s upcoming show A Series of Unfortunate Events has announced casting for the two Baudelaire children!

Malina Weissman, who played Young Kara on CBS’ Supergirl, will play the role of Violet and newcomer Louis Hynes will play her younger brother Klaus, EW reports.

Neil Patrick Harris is currently in negotiations to play the villainous Count Olaf. You may remember the book series was originally adapted into a movie back in 2004 starring Emily Browning, Liam Aiken, and Jim Carrey.

No release date for the series has been set.
