'Homeland' Moves Production to Germany for Season 5

Big news was just revealed about the upcoming fifth season of Claire Danes‘ hit show Homeland!

The fifth season will be shot in Germany and it will become the first American television series to shoot an entire season in the country. Production begins at Studio Babelsberg in Berlin in early June.

Season five will “pick-up two years after Carrie Mathison’s ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the ‘war on terror,’ Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm.”

Claire Danes Gets Honored at PS122's Spring Gala 2015!

Claire Danes keeps it chic while attending the Performance Space 122′s 2015 Spring Gala held at Capitale on Monday (April 20) in New York City.

The 35-year-old Homeland actress was joined by host Alan Cumming, Mamie Gummer, Monica Lewinsky, and Mandy Patinkin at the event honoring Claire herself and New York City council member majority leader Jimmy Van Bramer.

'Homeland' & 'The Affair' Renewed by Showtime!

Great news for fans of the Showtime series Homeland and The Affair – the network has picked up both shows for additional seasons!

The Affair, starring Dominic West, Ruth Wilson, and Joshua Jackson, will be getting a 10-episode second season while Claire Danes‘ hit drama Homeland will be getting a 12-episode fifth season, which will air in 2015.

The Affair is averaging 3.9 million weekly viewers across all platforms while Homeland has been averaging 6 million for the new season and it has been growing each of the last three weeks.

“In its fourth season, Homeland has brilliantly reinvented itself. It continues to capture the attention of a devoted fan base, and has provided an enviable platform for the successful launch of The Affair,” Showtime president David Nevins said in a statement. “With thought-provoking, relevant and addictive storylines, both series have been embraced, dissected and much debated week after week. We’re excited to see more from these complex shows in 2015.”

Claire Danes Gets Support from Hubby Hugh Dancy at 'Homeland' Season Four Private Screening!

Claire Danes poses for a photo with her handsome hubby Hugh Dancy while attending the private reception and screening for season four of her hit show Homeland on Thursday (September 4) in New York City.

The 35-year-old actress and Hugh, 39, were joined by her co-stars Rupert Friend, Nazanin Boniadi, Sarita Choudhury, Mandy Patinkin, Amy Hargreaves, and writer and producer Alex Gansa.

Zach Braff Has an Identity Crisis in First Full-Length 'Wish I Was Here' Trailer - Watch Now!

Zach Braff and Kate Hudson play a loving husband and wife in this brand new official trailer for their upcoming film Wish I Was Here!

Written by, directed by, and starring Zach, the movie tells the story of Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father and husband, who at 35 is still trying to find his identity; a purpose for his life.

He winds up trying to home school his two children when his father can no longer afford to pay for private education and the only available public school is on its last legs.

Through teaching them about life his way, Aidan gradually discovers some of the parts of himself he couldn’t find.

Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Jim Parsons, Joey King, Ashley Greene, and McKaley Miller also appear. Wish I Was Here hits theaters July 18!

'Homeland' Season 3 Finale Reaches Series High Ratings!

The third season finale of Claire Danes and Damian Lewis‘ hit series Homeland aired last night and it achieved the best ratings the show has seen for any episode yet!

For the 9pm airing, there were a total of 2.4 million viewers and adding in the encore showing, 2.9 million people watched the show that night, ranking it as the series’ most-watched night ever.

Even though many fans and critics have been calling out the show for having a weak season, it is the most-watched season to date with 7 million weekly viewers when counting DVR, On Demand, and encore plays, according to THR.

Airing after the Homeland finale, the freshman drama Masters of Sex reached 1.2 million viewers at 10pm, up 21 percent from its series premiere back in September.

'Homeland' Season 3 Finale Recap - Who Was Killed Off?

SPOILER ALERT: DO NOT CONTINUE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!

Throughout the last few episodes of Homeland‘s third season, Damian Lewis‘ character Brody has been on a mission working with the CIA and Claire Danes‘ Carrie to kill General Akbari, one of the high ranking terrorists.

He was sent over to Iran to try and get asylum, telling them that he couldn’t go back to America where he is wanted for the bombing of Langley. They take him in under the supervision of Majid Javadi, a man that the CIA had turned into a double agent on their side.

At the end of last week’s episode, Brody had worked his way into Akbari’s office and completed the mission to kill him… but then he needed a way out of country.
