Maroon 5's Mickey Madden Arrested Amid Domestic Violence Allegation

Mickey Madden was arrested.

The 41-year-old Maroon 5 bassist was arrested on a felony charge, accused of domestic violence, Page Six reported on Tuesday (June 30).

He was arrested on Saturday (June 27), charged with willfully inflicting a “traumatic” injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He is unmarried, and the identify of the alleged victim has not yet been identified.

He is currently out of jail after posting $50,000 bail.

“We are deeply devastated by this disappointing news. As we learn more, we are looking at this very seriously. For now, we are allowing all of the individuals involved the space to work things through,” Maroon 5‘s rep said in a statement.

Back in 2015, he was arrested for possession of cocaine.

His next court date will be on September 29 in LA Superior Court, according to ET.

His band recently made this announcement amid the pandemic.

Maroon 5 to Reschedule Summer 2020 U.S. Tour Amid Pandemic

Maroon 5 is rescheduling.

The “Girls Like You” band announced on Friday (May 15) that they will be rescheduling their upcoming 2020 tour, currently scheduled between May 30 and September 17, amid the global health crisis.

The new dates will be scheduled for summer of 2021.

“We want everyone to take care of themselves this summer and we really look forward to being back out with all our fans healthy and happy next year,” Adam Levine said in a statement.

Adam Levine Speaks Out Again After Chile Show, Says He Will Grow from This

Adam Levine has another message for fans after his widely criticized concert in Chile with Maroon 5.

The band’s performance was criticized and Adam was seen on camera complaining about the event and storming backstage.

“While we can’t always make up for our past, we can absolutely try our best to learn from it…thank you Chile for giving me the opportunity to grow. And to share some amazing memories that we will never forget. 🇨🇱 ❤️🙏🏻,” Adam wrote on Instagram on Saturday morning (February 29).

Adam Levine Apologizes To Fans For His Behavior During Chile Concert

Adam Levine is apologizing for his behavior at the Vina del Mar festival this week in Chile.

The Maroon 5 frontman took to his Instagram Story to apologize to fans for the performance and his behavior.

“To be totally frank there were some things holding me back last night and I let them get to me. And it impacted how I was behaving on stage, which is unprofessional and I apologize for that,” he said. “I struggled a lot and sometimes it’s really for me to mask the struggle. For that, I let you guys down and I apologize.”

The band’s performance was criticized and Adam was seen on camera complaining about the event and storming backstage.

“That was a TV show… that was not a concert”, he was overheard saying.

Adam continued on social media that he will do better and the band will “completely destroy” their next show.

Maroon 5 Calls Out The 1975 For Similar Album Artwork

Maroon 5 is calling out The 1975.

The Adam Levine fronted group took to Twitter to comment on the similarities between their their 1997 album The Fourth World and promotional artwork posted by The 1975 for their new single “Me & You Together Song.”

“Hey @the1975, you guys big ‘Kara’s Flowers’ fans?” the band wrote on their account.

Kara’s Flowers was Maroon 5‘s original name which they used until around 2000.

Later, The 1975 singer Matt Healy responded, writing, “I don’t know what the f**k that is but I love that song about being in a phone box or whatever it is.”

Maroon 5 has yet to write back to Matt.

Maroon 5 is going out on tour!

Leon Bridges and Meghan Trainor will be joining the band on the tour as well. Leon will be appearing during all stadium tour dates, while Meghan will be joining the band for every date.

Maroon 5 Dedicates 'Memories' Video to Late Manager Jordan Feldstein

Maroon 5 has dropped the music video for their new single “Memories” and they dedicated it to late manager Jordan Feldstein.

The video features a shirtless Adam Levine singing to the camera as the frame slowly zooms away from his face.

Jordan, the older brother of actors Jonah Hill and Beanie Feldstein, died in December 2017 at the age of 40 from “pulmonary thromboembolism and deep leg vein thrombosis.” He had a blockage in one of the pulmonary arteries in his lung due to a blood clot that traveled from his leg.
