Nicollette Sheridan and husband Aaron Phypers are parting ways.

The 52-year-old Desperate Housewives alum has filed for divorce after getting married in secret back in December 2015, according to People.

Nicollette filed the papers last week in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences, saying they officially split on June 19.

She is asking the court to deny spousal support. The former couple reportedly first started dating in December 2014.

This is Nicollette‘s second marriage and divorce. She was previously married to actor Harry Hamlin.

The ladies were joined at the event by Benicio Del Toro, Tom Arnold, Nicollette Sheridan, Melissa Leo, Pitch Perfect‘s Kelly Hu, and Grey’s Anatomy actress Camilla Luddington.

Earlier in the week, Kat showed off her toned arms at The Blonds Fashion Show held during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2014 at Milk Studios in New York City.

Yesterday, it was revealed that former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan is suing ABC and series creator Marc Cherry for $20 million because he allegedly hit her.

The 46-year-old actress is now firing back after ABC released a statement.

“Nicollette worked very hard on the show and was a model employee,” Nicollette‘s attorney Mark Baute from L.A. law firm Baute & Tidus tells JustJared.com in a statement. “Mr. Cherry‘s behavior towards Nicollette was and is nothing short of abusive and appalling. The lawsuit is not something Nicollette wanted to do, it’s something she felt compelled to do. Nicollette asked ABC for help and protection from Mr. Cherry‘s abusive behavior, and ultimately, ABC was not willing or able to provide that protection. Sometimes the only way that a safe and normal work environment can be created is when a hard-working person like Nicollette stands up for herself and her rights, and in doing so help protect others who have had to work in a hostile environment. We expect the case to be hard fought, and it will not be a surprise if ABC and Mr. Cherry try to depict Nicollette to be something other than a team player and long-standing industry professional. She put her heart and soul into the role of the Edie character, a character that she truly enjoyed playing.”

Former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan has sued ABC, ABC Studios, Touchstone Television and series creator Marc Cherry for $20 million!!!

The 46-year-old actress claims that she was struck on the head by Marc and fired when she complained about it.

“On September 24, 2008, during a rehearsal for the show, when Sheridan questioned Cherry about something that was in the script, Cherry took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head,” Nicollette says in her complaint via THR. “[I was] physically and emotionally injured, humiliated and stunned by Cherry‘s sudden physical violence and stated, ‘you just hit me in the head, that is not okay. THAT IS NOT OKAY!’ ”

Nicollette continued, “After an incident where Sheridan‘s co-star on the show Teri Hatcher went above Cherry‘s head to speak to ABC executives, Cherry told Sheridan, ‘I hope Teri Hatcher gets hit by a car and dies.’ ”

ABC has responded, saying, “While we have yet to see the actual complaint, we investigated similar claims made by Ms. Sheridan last year and found them to be without merit.”

Wow, this lawsuit seems like it’s straight off the script of Desperate Housewives!

Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have called off their engagement!

Her rep Nicole Perna tells People, “Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.”

The 55-year-old musician and the 44-year-old Desperate Housewives star have been on and off since 1993. From 1991-93, Nicollette was married to actor Harry Hamlin, who is currently married to Lisa Rinna. Nicollette also called off her engagement to Swedish actor Niklas Soderblom back in October 2005.

Nicollette Sheridan (Desperate Housewives) and singer/fiance Michael Bolton spend Saturday in St. Bart’s relaxing and sunning on the beach.

We hope Nic, 44, is getting her proper SPFs otherwise she’ll be starring in Desperate Grandmothers!

Desperate Housewives returns with a new episode “Welcome to Kanagawa” on Sunday Jan. 6th on ABC.

Michael, 54, was recently on the holiday special, Clash of the Choirs which co-starred Nick Lachey and Kelly Rowland.

Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman released her book “A Practical Handbook for the Boyfriend” last night at Iconology in Los Angeles, Calif.

Says Felicity: “We started writing the book because we wanted it to help guys figure women out. We weren’t presenting ourselves as experts. The book is a little bit of advice and a lot of funny. We thought women would read the book, and hopefully they’ll give it to their guys.”

Her Desperate co-stars were on hand to celebrate including Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Nicollette Sheridan, Andrea Bowen, and Brenda Strong.

Noticeably missing was Marcia Cross, who’s still on bed rest until she gives birth to her twins (rumored to be girls) in April. Check out more pictures from Felicity‘s book launch here!

As for Wisteria Lane, Nicollette‘s scheming character will take the lead in season three, while Marcia (Bree) is on maternity leave.

Says executive producer Marc Cherry: “Nicollette has been bumped up to front and center. There was a line in the pilot episode two years ago about how Edie had a son and he’s finally going to come and stay with her.”
