Kate Walsh and Nicole Richie arrive at the 2011 UNICEF Ball held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Thursday (December 8) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 44-year-old Private Practice star brought her boyfriend, writer Chris Case, as her date and also met up with legendary music producer Quincy Jones inside the bash.

Nicole, who’s Quincy‘s goddaughter, stepped out in an Osman dress.

She finished off her look with jewelry by Neil Lane and her House of Harlow 1960 line, HOH 1960‘s “Nora” shoes, and HOH 1960‘s “Orlina” clutch.

FYI: Kate is wearing a Temperley London dress with Neil Lane jewelry.

The world premiere of the “We Are The World” reboot will air tonight (February 12) at 8:45/7:45c during the Opening Ceremony of the Vancouver Winter Olympics!

With more than 80 artists involved and a good reason to re-record the song, “We Are The World 25 For Haiti” will raise money and make grants for efficient Haiti relief and continual development of programs to benefit the nation in the future through the newly created We Are The World Foundation.

As soon as the song premieres on NBC, it’ll be available for download and on World25.org, iTunes and on YouTube. You can see the music video on all three sites.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are planning to re-record “We Are The World” 25 years after its original release!

The industry legends are currently gathering talent to record the song together on Monday, February 1, just after the Grammy Awards!

According to THR, Usher and John Legend have already been invited to participate and Sting, Fergie, Alicia Keys and Justin Timberlake will all likely be likely in the song.

The 41-year-old singer was joined by celebrity guests Jake Gyllenhaal, Forest Whitaker, Samuel L. Jackson, director Ron Howard, Cedric the Entertainer and Quincy Jones.

The vid was directed by Hype Williams, who most recently did Kanye West’s “Heartless” and Coldplay’s “Vida La Vida.”
