After the performance, the 46-year-old entertainer sat down on the couch and confirmed that the upcoming Mean Girls musical is “moving along” nicely. “I mean, I’ll probably come back here like five more times before we actually come to Broadway,” Tina joked with Jimmy, “but it’s a real thing now.”

“When it’s a new show, you practice it here and then you go out of town—either to Chicago or La Jolla or wherever. We’re going to D.C. We’re at the National Theatre,” Tina added. “You can buy tickets now. Previews start on Halloween. It’s so cool. It’s so fun because—you can sing—but I’ve been in stuff that’s like movie musicals, whatever, a little bit. The secret with movie musicals is you can secretly suck and be a star. But to do things on stage? Like, these kids are so talented. We have the cast now. We’ve been rehearsing for about a month. There’s a bunch of baby Timberlakes. Everyone can do everything! They just sing so loud and they dance so hard.”

Tina also chatted with with Jimmy about her NBC series Good News and the latest season of her hit Netflix show Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – Watch more after the cut!

Taran Killam Shares Loving Message To Wife Cobie Smulders On 'Present Laughter' Broadway Debut!

Taran Killam has shared the sweetest message for his wife Cobie Smulders in support of her debut Broadway performance in Present Laughter!

The 35-year-old actress stars as Joanna Lyppiatt in the Noel Coward comedy, opposite Kevin Klein. Present Laughter officially opened last night (April 5) at the St. James Theatre in New York City.

“I don’t normally like to get very personal on social media but tonight is the opening of this woman’s Broadway debut,” Taran wrote on his Instagram post. “This woman, the kindest, most selfless, most stunning individual with the most educated heart I’ve ever encountered. She followed me to New York for my work and set a goal for herself. The only specific creative goal I’ve ever witnessed her commit to: perform in a play on Broadway. In these three years, she has jumped through many hoops; put herself out willingly and vulnerably, while still keeping a priority of being a superb mother and phenomenal partner.”

“She has been met with speculation, scrutiny and rejection but never gave up her commitment to her dream,” Taran continued. “And tonight, she realizes this dream. Something few people ever get to achieve. And she does it flawlessly. I have never been so overwhelmed with pride in my life. Congratulations, Cobie, you did it. Thank you for the inspiration and the incredible honor of being your husband.”

Pictured: Taran and Cobie happily posing at the opening night after party for Present Laughter held at Gotham Hall on Wednesday (April 5) in New York City.

Also in attendance at the after party was Tina Fey and her hubby Jeff Richmond, Zachary Quinto, David Burtka, Tedra Millan and designer Zac Posen.

FYI: Cobie is wearing an Altuzarra ‘Celia’ dress with Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.

Tina Fey Slams White Women Who Regret Voting for Trump

Tina Fey was one of many celebs who appeared at the ACLU’s Stand for Rights benefit telethon on Friday night and she sent a message to white women who regret voting for Trump.

53 percent of white women supported Trump in the election while only 43 percent voted for Clinton. Many women who voted for Trump have spoken out saying they regret their decisions after the moves he has made since becoming president.

“A lot of this election was turned by white, college-educated women who now would maybe like to forget about this election and go back to watching HGTV,” Tina said (via Huffington Post). “I would want to urge them to like, ‘You can’t look away’ because it doesn’t affect you this minute, but it’s going to affect you eventually.”

“Again, open two windows. Do watch HGTV. [Don’t] turn our attention away from what is happening,” she added.
