Jaden Smith Breaks Through At Showest

Jaden Smith wins the Breakthrough Male Star of the Year Award at the screening of his new movie, The Karate Kid, held at the Paris Hotel and Casino during Showest in Las Vegas on Wednesday (March 17).

The 11-year-old actor and son of actor Will Smith stars alongside Jackie Chan in the martial arts film.

After accepting his award, Jaden took to the stage for his acceptance speech.

“My dad prepared a speech for me with a bunch of funny stuff in it,” Jaden said to the audience . “But I’m 11 and I’m nervous, so thank you!”
