JustJared: How are you guys feeling after the performances?

Swon Brothers: “It’s done! Tomorrow’s the party! We’re here, we rode this horse all the way to the last episode and it’s been the time of our lives. We feel blessed to be here.”

JJ: What was it like to perform with everyone from the whole season?

SB: “What an emotional ride, you know, you hate to see them go but when they come back, it’s like a family union. It’s really cool.”

JJ: Blake picked “Danny’s Song” as your defining moment, would you have picked that song or chosen another?

SB: “It probably would have been ‘Danny’s Song.’ The reaction fromt he public and on iTunes, it went number 2 overall on the charts. It doesn’t happen everyday, so it took us a long time to get to that moment on the show. That was probably our biggest moment on the show. Blake hasn’t stirred us wrong yet, we’re still here. It’s his call and we’re behind him and he behind us.”

JJ: You mentioned that you got mobbed at the airport recently, what’s the craziest fan encounter so far?

SB: “The craziest is when people on Facebook and Twitter, and this happens a lot, if you respond once and then they want a one hour convo, which we’re fine with, but sometimes we don’t have time. They message, literally every two seconds, it’s flattering.”

JJ: What’s the most enriching part of your experience on the show?

SB: “It think the whole experience has been great, but what is really cool is the fans. The show gives you platforms to connect with so many people, we spent at least 20 years playing show after show, town after town, to build a fan base, and this lets you do it really quick and a big volume. It is invaluable and amazing to have. We are grateful for that.”

JJ: Win or lose, what is up for you guys after this?

SB: “We are heading to Nashville. I think we have some interesting labels, win or lose. We’ll see what happens. Hopefully, we’ll release a single super soon and get it out to you guys. You will hear a record and you will see us on the road because we can’t go without playing shows.”

JJ: We love the banter between you guys, what the most hilarious thing that has happened?

SB: “Actually tonight was pretty funny. After “Celebrity” we all got tickled because Blake swung his guitar around and broke my brother’s [Colton] thumb. His thumb got smashed between the guitar and no body knew it. He put his swollen thumb to the audience. Blake said, ‘I just broke your thumb, didn’t it?’”
