Matt Damon: 'Monuments Men' Delayed Until 2014

Matt Damon carries his adorable smiley daughter Stella, 3, while out and about on Tuesday (October 22) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actor’s new film Monuments Men will not open in time on December 18 as originally planned.

“We just didn’t have enough time,” director George Clooney told the LA Times about the film’s visual effects, which could not be completed on time.

“All we’ve ever said, from the very beginning, is that we wanted to make a commercial, non-cynical piece of entertainment,” George added about the film’s ineligibility for the 2014 Oscars.

George, Bill Murray, Jean Dujardin, John Goodman and Cate Blanchett also star in the film.
