Jackie Chan to Receive Lifetime Achievement Oscar!

Jackie Chan is set to receive the lifetime achievement Oscar from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences!

The 62-year-old Chinese movie star will be receiving the honorary Academy Award at the eighth annual Governors Awards on November 12.

Jackie, who is well known for doing his own stunts, has starred in more than 30 martial arts movies in Hong Kong. He even has written and directed many of them. In the past year, he was the second-highest paid actor in the world with earnings of $61 million. Watch an educational video below showing him doing his own stunts!

Also receiving honorary Oscars this year are film editor Anne Coates, casting director Lynn Stalmaster, and filmmaker Frederick Wiseman.
