Cardi B Appears in Court for Strip Club Assault Trial in New York City

Cardi B arrives at Queens Criminal Court regarding the August incident at a strip club on Friday morning (December 7) in New York City.

Prior to showing up in court, the 26-year-old “Bodak Yellow” rapper was given an extension on Monday (December 3) and was warned by the judge that she’d be issued a warrant for her arrest if she didn’t show on Friday (December 7).

She is accused of throwing bottles and chairs at the two bartenders. She turned herself in and was charged in October for one misdemeanor count of assault and two misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.

Following the hearing, the judge released Cardi without bail and said he didn’t consider her to be a flight risk according to TMZ. However, he did give her a warning not to have any contact with the bartenders involved in the case, Baddie Gi and Jade – including any social media threats or comments.

She is due back in court in January.
