SAG Award Nominee Harry Shum Jr. Helps Make the Statuettes!
Harry Shum Jr. uses a hammer to carve out one of the Actor Statuettes for the upcoming 2019 SAG Awards on Tuesday (January 15) at the American Fine Arts Foundry in Burbank, Calif.
The 36-year-old actor is nominated this year alongside the cast of Crazy Rich Asians for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.
Harry previously won a SAG Award in 2010 for his work on Glee.
“Instead of caffeine, I like to start my mornings by breaking some molding apart for the @sagawards ‘Actor.’ Really neat to be included in the process of creating the iconic 12 pound bronze statuette. Never been so close to 2000 degrees of hot molten bronze before. #sagawards,” Harry wrote on Twitter.
