Lori Loughlin & Husband Indicted for Additional Charge of Money Laundering

Lori Loughlin did not enter a plea deal with the prosecution in the college admissions scandal case and she and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are now facing an additional charge of money laundering.

This means that they have the potential to serve even more prison time. They had previously been charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, but now money laundering has been added for their alleged participation in “conspiring to launder the bribes and other payment in furtherance of the fraud by funneling them through [Rick] Singer’s purported charity and his for-profit corporation,” TMZ reports.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that if Lori took the plea deal, she could spend two or two-and-a-half years in prison. Now, the money laundering charge alone could bring that amount of time even higher as it comes with a maximum of 20 years in prison.
