Cate Blanchett Relates To The 'Chaos' of 'Where'd You, Go Bernadette'!

Cate Blanchett is all smiles in a pink ensemble while making her way out of the Today show studios on Monday morning (August 12) in New York City.

The 50-year-old Oscar-winning actress talked to host Savannah Guthrie about playing the title character in the new movie, Where’d You Go, Bernadette.

The film has a unique take on motherhood, which Blanchett says she was drawn to: “I think that’s where I related to the chaos of Bernadette,” she said. “You never hold it together – there’s this myth. I’m so glad we’ve stopped as women, we’ve finally between ourselves, we’ve sort of stopped pretending because it’s not OK. It rarely works.”

“We’re talking about our problems, instead of pretending that we’re the only ones that have them,” Cate concluded.

That same day, Cate Blanchett was spotted in a different look as she made her way to the BUILD series studios to promote Where’d You Go, Bernadette.
