Bella Hadid Seemingly Shades Victoria's Secret: 'I Never Felt Powerful'

Bella Hadid didn’t feel sexy while hitting the runway in lingerie until Rihanna‘s Savage x Fenty show this year.

The 23-year-old model seemingly shaded Victoria’s Secret when she opened up about taking part in lingerie fashion shows.

“Rihanna‘s amazing. For me, that was the first time on a runway that I felt really sexy. Because when I first did Fenty, I was doing other lingerie shows and I never felt powerful on a runway, like, in my underwear,” Bella said during the Vogue Fashion Festival (via WWD).

Bella added that Rihanna told her to walk any way she wanted, giving her the confidence to strut her stuff in front of the audience.

“I like being another character. I think at this point I don’t necessarily love being myself sometimes. Sometimes on the runway you get either nervous or you forget how your legs move,” Bella explained.

While Bella didn’t give the names of any other specific lingerie companies, she has walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show three times.
