Meet 'Star Wars' Newbie Naomi Ackie & See Her Premiere Pics!

Naomi Ackie looks gorgeous while walking the red carpet at the premiere of her new movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on Monday night (December 16) in Hollywood.

The 27-year-old British actress, who is best known for her work on season two of Netflix’s The End of the F***ing World, plays the new role of Jannah in the film.

Not much is known yet about Jannah, other than her being an ally of the resistance.

“I want people to enjoy watching her do what she knows how to do really well…” Naomi told Black Film. “She’s a capable, strong woman. There’s this feeling from this film of everyone coming together to fight for a greater cause. If we need anything right now, it’s for everyone to come together to fight for a greater cause — something bigger than just an individual’s sense of self. I hope that people see Jannah as part of the ensemble and that they come away from the film feeling good.”
