Pixar Moves 'Soul' From June 2020 Release to November 2020 Release

Soul, Pixar‘s newest movie, was originally set to open June 19, 2020, but it has been given a brand new release date.

The movie will now open on November 20, 2020, so fans will have to wait several more months for the new release.

Disney has been shuffling numerous movie release dates including Mulan from March to July 24, Black Widow from May until November 7 and The Eternals to February of 2021.

You can watch the newest trailer for Soul right here, which was released just as the pandemic was ramping up America.

Here’s a plot summary: Joe Gardner is a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth. Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22, who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions.

The movie features the voices of Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Phylicia Rashad, Angela Bassett, Questlove and Daveed Diggs.
