'The Bachelorette' Brought In Extra Guys For Clare Crawley's Season As Backup

The Bachelorette season 16 is about to kick off filming in La Quinta, California, and according to Reality Steve, there are “extra” guys on call for the cast.

He reports that all of the guys for the show have flown into the area and are ready to meet Clare Crawley, however, none of them are guaranteed to be on the show because of the pandemic and extra precautions set up by ABC.

“I’m hearing this season they have way more guys flown out there than will eventually end up on the show, and that’s to have other guys ready to go if any test positive for COVID upon arrival,” Reality Steve reports. “But in typical Bachelor fashion, it’s not like they’re telling any of the ‘extra’ guys they flew out that they’re basically just a standby person.”

As previously reported, many of the guys originally slated to star on the show this season are now unavailable and others have been chosen to possibly appear.

They guys are also under quarantine for a full week before filming begins and will be tested multiple times for coronavirus.
