Duchess Kate Middleton & Prince William Wear Their Face Masks on Latest Royal Visit
Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) step out for their event to mark the launch of the nationwide “Hold Still” community photography project on Tuesday (October 20) in London, England.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge met with some of the 100 finalists in the contest. The photos that were entered in the contest displayed life in the UK during the COVID-19 lockdown.
The royal couple wore face masks when social distancing was not possible.
One of the finalists they met, Sami Massalami Mohammed Elmassalami Ayed, spoke to Hello! about meeting the royal couple.
“The Duchess called me a few weeks ago and we had such a lovely conversation. She told me how she wanted to build a snapshot of how Britain was coping in the pandemic, but to show all sides of what people have gone through and are still going through. The Duchess came across as really caring and dedicated, I was so impressed she took the time to call me,” Sami said.
If you missed it, there was a big royal controversy last week.
FYI: The Duchess is wearing Alexander McQueen.
