Florence Pugh, Vera Farmiga, & Four More Actors Join Marvel's 'Hawkeye' Cast!

The cast of the upcoming Marvel series Hawkeye, which will stream exclusively on Disney+, is shaping up with two more Oscar nominees joining the show!

Jeremy Renner and Hailee Steinfeld are already set to play Clint Barton and Kate Bishop in the upcoming series.

Now, Vera Farmiga and Florence Pugh have joined the cast as well, according to Variety. All four of the actors have previously been nominated for Oscars! Four more actors have also joined the cast, which you can read more about below.

Filming just began on the upcoming series and we have some great photos from set, which show Jeremy and Hailee walking around New York City with Lucky the Pizza Dog.

Vera Farmiga

Vera Farmiga will be playing Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Hailee‘s character Kate Bishop.

Florence Pugh

Florence Pugh will be reprising her role as Black Widow’s sister, spy and assassin Yelena Belova. She plays the role in the upcoming Black Widow movie, set to hit theaters in May 2021.

Fra Fee

Fra Fee, who appears in the upcoming live-action Cinderella movie, will “play a character named Kazi, most likely short for Kazimierz Kazimierczak, known to Marvel fans as the mercenary villain Clown.”

Tony Dalton

Tony Dalton, best known for his work on Better Call Saul, will “play Jack Duquesne, more than likely a take on the Marvel character Jacques Duquesne or Swordsman. An early mentor to Hawkeye, Swordsman has been both a hero and a villain in the Marvel comics.”

Zahn McClarnon

Zahn McClarnon, who most recently was in the movie Doctor Sleep, will “play the role of William Lopez, likely a take on Maya’s father Willie “Crazy Horse” Lincoln from the comics.”

Newcomer Alaqua Cox will make her on-screen debut as “Maya Lopez, the true name of the Marvel character Echo, a deaf Native American who is capable of perfectly copying another person’s movements, making her a formidable fighter.”
