HAIM, Kaia Gerber, Charli XCX & More Star in Rostam's 'From the Back of a Cab' Music Video

HAIM, Kaia Gerber and Charli XCX are catching a ride!

The stars are just some of the many celebrities who appear in Rostam‘s new “From the Back of a Cab” music video, released on Tuesday (May 4).

The single is featured on Rostam‘s upcoming album, Changephobia, out on June 4.

The video features a bunch of Rostam‘s friends and collaborators, including Charli‘s boyfriend Huck Kwong, Seth Bogart, Remi Wolf, Bryce Willard Smithe, Samantha Urbani, Wallows, Ghazal Hashemi, Ariel Rechtshaid, Demi Adejuyigbe, Carter Howe, Matt DiMona, Chris Paloma, Julian McClanahan and Nick Robinson.

It was co-directed by Jason Lester and Rostam..

“’From the Back of a Cab’ is probably my favorite song that I’ve written. It started with the 12/8 drums — something you find in Persian music and African music. I built the song around those drums over time, writing the piano part in my living room, the melodies and lyrics on foot walking in New York and Tokyo, on California’s highways, and on the flights and car trips between all those places,” Rostam said of the track.
