Jonathan Van Ness Celebrates Hubby Mark Peacock Getting His Green Card

It’s a big day for Jonathan Van Ness‘ husband!

The 34-year-old Queer Eye star and hairdresser took to Instagram on Monday (May 3) to reveal that his husband Mark Peacock got his green card.

“Yay he’s staying @marklondon 💗 Today as a queer person who wouldn’t have been able to marry the person they love just 6 years ago, our rights can’t be taken for granted! So happy to have this process in our rearview 💗 Green Card YAS!” Jonathan wrote.

Along with the sweet message, Jonathan also shared a photo of him and Mark, 35, hugging while in front of a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services building.

If you didn’t know, Mark was born and raised in London, England before moving to the United States. Jonathan and Mark met in London while Jonathan was on his comedy tour.

On New Year’s Eve, Jonathan surprised fans when he announced that he and Mark had secretly gotten married earlier in the year.
