Unscripted 'Harry Potter' TV Show in the Works - Get the Details & Apply to Be a Contestant!

An unscripted Harry Potter television show is in the works!

We just got word that an unscripted quiz show and retrospective special are being planned at HBO Max and it will air over the course of several nights to celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”

WizardingWorld.com released the press release, saying, “The quiz series itself will be celebrate the incredible fandom and their love of the Harry Potter films and stories – and will be open to contestants who are 14 years old and over, with fans of all ages able to join in from home. So, many generations of wizarding world fan can get involved!”

According to the report, the quiz show will be a four episode series and will lead into a special highlighting the famed series.

Casting is currently happening. You have to be over 14 years old to apply. And if you aren’t chosen as a contestant, you’ll be able to play along at home.

This news comes a few months after rumors of a live action Harry Potter TV show in development.
