Ashley Park to Star in R-Rated Comedy From 'Crazy Rich Asians' Writer Adele Lim

Ashley Park is teaming up with Adele Lim for a new movie!

Variety reports that the Emily in Paris actress is set to star in a R-rated comedy for Lionsgate and Point Grey Pictures.

Adele, who’s best known for writing Crazy Rich Asians and Raya and the Last Dragon, will direct the project.

According to the outlet, the movie is currently untitled and will follow “four Asian American women as they travel through Asia in search of one of their birth mothers. Along the way, their experience becomes one of bonding, friendship, belonging, and no-holds-barred wild debauchery that reveals the universal truth of what it means to know and love who you are.”
