Sean Lock Dead - UK Comedian & TV Personality Dies at 58
Sean Lock has sadly died.
The UK TV personality and comedian passed away at the age of 58, his agent confirmed to The Guardian on Wednesday (August 18), via Deadline.
He had been fighting cancer for a while, and passed away at home surrounded by family, his agent said.
Sean Lock broke out in the early ’90s on Newman And Baddiel In Pieces, and later had his own BBC Radio 4 show 15 Minutes of Misery and resulting TV show 15 Storeys High.
He was a regular on panel shows, including Have I Got News For You and QI, as well as 8 Out of 10 Cats and spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He was nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award and won Best Live Comic at the British Comedy Awards as well.
