'Framing Britney Spears' Follow-Up Documentary 'Controlling Britney Spears' Is Coming Tonight

The makers of Framing Britney Spears are arriving ahead of the weekend with a follow-up documentary, calling Controlling Britney Spears.

The New York Times, FX and Hulu project is coming just a few days before Netflix announced a Britney documentary of their own, Britney Vs. Spears.

The project, from the makers of Framing, is directed by Samantha Stark with Liz Day as a supervising producer and reporter, and promises to explore “new allegations from insiders with knowledge of Spears’ daily life inside the conservatorship.”

The doc will air at 10 p.m. ET on FX and Hulu.

It also plans to explore “an intense surveillance apparatus that monitored every move she made.”
