Adele went on Instagram Live for the first-time ever on Saturday afternoon (October 9) and she spent so much time chatting with fans.

The 33-year-old Grammy-winning singer was live for nearly 45 minutes and she spent a lot of the time trying to figure out how to add fans to stream, which she never was able to figure out. Alicia Keys even offered to be her tech support at one point!

Near the end of the IG Live, Adele surprised fans by playing a nearly one-minute snippet of her new single “Easy on Me.”

“There ain’t no good in this river that I’ve been washing my hands in forever / And there is hope in these waters, but I can’t bring myself to swim when I am drowning,” Adele sings in the new song.

When asked about the release date for her upcoming album 30, Adele said, “It’s dropping soon, don’t you worry.” She was asked to reveal what the album is about and she said, “What’s my next album going to be based on? Divorce, babe. Divorce!”

After someone asked Adele for her go-to drink at brunch, she said it was an Apperol Spritz, but because she’s getting ready to “come back,” she’s going to cut back on drinking.

Adele was also asked about the rumors that she’ll be collaborating with Beyonce.

“I’m not making a song with Beyonce. I don’t know why so many of you are asking that,” she replied.

In a new interview, Adele talked about the reason behind her divorce from ex-husband Simon Konecki.
