RHONJ's Joe Giudice Reacts To Ex-Wife Teresa Giudice's Engagement News

Joe Giudice is opening up about ex-wife Teresa Giudice‘s engagement announcement.

If you didn’t see, Teresa revealed she was now engaged to boyfriend Luis Ruelas after just a year of dating.

Luis proposed to Teresa earlier this week during a romantic getaway to Porto Heli, Greece, where he incorporated sparklers, candles, roses, a violinist and a fireworks display into the moment.

“It was absolutely exquisite,” a source shared with People. “The choreographed fireworks display illuminated a ‘Marry Me’ sign as Louie got down on one knee. Teresa was completely surprised.”

Now, Teresa‘s ex is opening up about the big news.

In a statement to Celebuzz!, Joe claims he’s happy for the newly engaged couple.

“I’m happy for Teresa and Louie, I give them my blessings,” Joe said, although he added, “I think they moved a bit quick into this romance but I’m glad she found her true love and wish them all the best.”

Joe was previously deported from the United States for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud. After returning to Italy, he and Teresa divorced late last year.

Teresa and Luis were previously seen out together shopping in NYC this summer.
