Tom Holland's Big 'Spider-Man' Opening Night Plans Had to Be Canceled

Tom Holland had big plans to surprise audiences at screenings of Spider-Man: No Way Home on opening night, but the plans had to be canceled.

The 25-year-old actor was going to be joined by a surprise guest from the film at screenings in Los Angeles on Friday night (December 17).

Variety reports that Tom was scheduled to pop into screenings at the TCL Chinese Theatre and the AMC The Grove location. Unfortunately, “the road show was nixed just hours before due to COVID-19 concerns as well as possible crowd control issues.”

Fans have been stepping out in full force this weekend to watch the new Spider-Man movie. It just earned the second biggest opening day in box office history and is on track to have a huge weekend.
