BTS Member Suga Tests Positive for COVID-19

Suga has coronavirus.

The 28-year-old BTS member testing positive for COVID-19, his agency Big Hit confirmed, via CNN.

The company said that Suga took a PCR test after returning from the United States on Thursday (December 23), which resulted in a positive notification on Friday morning (December 24).

He then went into quarantine after getting tested, and has not come in contact with other BTS band members, according to Big Hit.

He is fully vaccinated, and also has no symptoms according to the report, and is doing at-home treatment according to South Korean health guidelines.

South Korea has been mandating all international travelers, including Korean nationals, quarantine for ten days regardless of their vaccination status, via CNN.
