Michelle Obama Pays Tribute to Betty White with Sweet Photo Featuring Late Dog Bo

Michelle Obama is honoring Betty White.

Shortly after learning about the death of the legendary actress and animal lover at 99, the 57-year-old former First Lady took to Instagram to share a sweet memory of Betty and “First Dog” Bo, who died in May 2021.

“Betty White broke barriers, defied expectations, served her country, and pushed us all to laugh. She was also an animal lover and activist, and Bo loved spending time with her,” Michelle wrote along with a photo of Betty and Bo sitting together on a bench.

She continued, “There was no one quite like her, and Barack and I join so many who will miss the joy she brought to the world. I know our Bo is looking forward to seeing her up in heaven.”
