Sarah Hyland's Mom 'Manifested' Wells Adams Becoming Her Fiancé

Sarah Hyland dances her way out from backstage for her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show during Friday’s (February 4) episode.

The 31-year-old former Modern Family actress chatted with guest host Mario Lopez about her upcoming work and also her upcoming nuptials to Wells Adams.

During the show, Sarah admitted that she has to credit her mom for “discovering” Wells on social media after his run on The Bachelorette.

Sarah shared that she did first take notice of him during JoJo Fletcher‘s season of The Bachelorette.

“I think I have been a part of the Bachelor franchise longer than Wells, because I have been watching since the very first season with my mom,” she shared. “So I essentially shopped for my future husband on television.”

However, it was during his run on Bachelor in Paradise that she really took notice, after her mom “discovered” him.

“I don’t know how we got on this subject, but she told me, ‘Not to make your engagement or your marriage about me, but I manifested this for you. I was watching Wells on JoJo’s season [of ‘The Bachelorette’], and I said to your father, “If Sarah brings that man home, I would be happy.” So you’re welcome,’” Sarah recalled.
