Meet the Stars of Wicked's Touring Production - Talia Suskauer & Allison Bailey! (Exclusive)

The hit Broadway musical Wicked is back in the Los Angeles area for the first time in years and we caught up with tour stars Talia Suskauer and Allison Bailey ahead of opening night.

The touring production of Wicked is currently playing at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, which is a short drive down to Orange County from L.A.

Wicked has been playing on Broadway for more than 18 years and tells the untold story of the witches of Oz. The official opening is TONIGHT (February 10) and the show will be running at Segerstrom through March 6. The next stop on the tour is Spokane.

Talia Suskauer – Elphaba

1. I am a Floridian! Born and raised in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
2. I graduated from Penn State with a BFA in Musical Theatre.
3. I am obsessed with alpacas. I just think they are incredible creatures and I want to be surrounded by them at all times.
4. I have a border collie named Tucker who is truly the best dog in the world.
5. My younger sister, Becca, is also an actress. We are both touring the country with Broadway shows — her with Pretty Woman, and me with Wicked!
6. I made my Broadway debut in the new musical Be More Chill in 2019, the year after I graduated from college.
7. I could literally eat pasta every day for the rest of my life.
8. You’ll rarely find me without a beanie on my head.
9. I was never a gamer, but during the pandemic I discovered Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and I have logged over 200 hours. I am a changed woman.
10. I get to perform in my favorite musical every night— not many people can say that, and I feel so fortunate. Wicked is a dream come true.

Allison Bailey – Glinda

1. How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Sweet Home Alabama are my favorite rom coms.
2. Baking is my favorite hobby. Butter is my best friend.
3. I was born and raised in Pensacola, Florida, and love to surf.
4. My middle name is Barbee (my mom’s maiden name).
5. I love country music. Carly Pearce is currently on repeat.
6. I could eat sushi all day, every day. It’s my favorite food.
7. I sang “Popular” for my college showcase. I’ve been dreaming of Wicked since I was 12.
8. I was a State Champion Mock Trial attorney in high school (Elle Woods was inspo).
9. I wrote and recorded a national radio jingle for a biscuit company at 14. I knew at a young age I loved carbs.
10. I’m obsessed with matcha. I can usually be found with a matcha americano in my hand.
