Cheryl Burke Breaks Silence on Divorce from Husband Matthew Lawrence

Cheryl Burke is speaking out to inform her fans about her divorce from husband Matthew Lawrence.

The couple’s split was announced on Wednesday (February 23) after Cheryl filed for divorce in a Los Angeles courthouse. They were married for three years.

In a statement released on Instagram on Thursday (February 24), Cheryl said, “I know I have always said that I’m an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I’ve realized there isn’t really an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending. I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for privacy.”

She concluded, “Thank you all for all the kind words & support you’ve given me—love you all. Xx Cheryl.”

Just recently, Cheryl had opened up about Matt‘s reptile collection and also revealed how her relationship with him is different than any others she had.
