Christina Aguilera Hits Up The Billboard Women in Music 2022 With H.E.R.

Christina Aguilera meets up with H.E.R. on the pink carpet for the 2022 Billboard Women in Music event held at YouTube Theater on Wednesday night (March 2) in Inglewood, Calif.

The 41-year-old singer and H.E.R., 24, posed for a few pics together on the carpet before heading inside for the event, which honors female influence in the music industry and beyond.

H.E.R. will be honored with the Impact Award at the event, while Christina will be presenting.

Speaking to Billboard ahead of the night, Christina opened up about involving more women in her own music.

“It’s important to support women and you can take the easy way out sometimes to do what the public will expect, but all of my career I’ve gone for the unexpected,” she shared. “All my career I’ve gone for it doesn’t matter who’s charting. The talented self speaks to me and much of the time that doesn’t include everybody that’s on the charts. Some of that can get to be a bit manufactured. It’s always good energy to work with other women.”
