The teaser, which Marvel Studios dropped on Wednesday (April 6), hints at the return of two important characters from Wandavision.

At one point in the clip, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) reveal that they both have recurring dreams of what seem to be other universes, only to wake up in their own realities. While Strange’s nightmares involve his love for Christine Palmer (Rachel McAdams), Wanda’s night terrors are centered around her twin sons Billy and Tommy, who seemingly exist in another dimension.

As fans remember from Wandavision‘s finale, it was clear that even though Wanda had to undo the magic that made her sons exist, they were still out there in the multiverse and were able to communicate with her.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will be released in theaters on May 6 and advance tickets are on sale now. Watch the new trailer and see the poster in the gallery down below!
