Pete Davidson Addresses Kanye West Drama During First Stand-Up Set in Three Years

Pete Davidson hit the stage for his first stand-up set in three years this week, where he addressed some of the things happening in his personal life.

During his routine, the 28-year-old performer discussed his highly-publicized relationship with Kim Kardashian as well as the public attacks her ex Kanye West made against him.

According to Deadline, he compared Kanye‘s remarks on social media to the infamous confrontation between Will Smith and Chris Rock at the Oscars. He brought up Kanye‘s “Eazy” video, in which a Claymation version of himself got decapacitated, comparing it to Will‘s Oscars slap.

Pete also discussed Kanye saying he had AIDS, joking that he was momentarily convinced it was true because Kanye “is a genius.”

The Saturday Night Live star recalled attending a basketball game in December of last year where he was seated between Jon Stewart and Chris Rock, which he referred to as “the before time.” He added, “Before life was over.”

He joked that while he didn’t hold it against his friend Jack Harlow for working with Kanye, he would end his friendship with fellow comedian Bill Burr if he ever attended one of Kanye’s Sunday Service ceremonies.

Pete got some support from Kim at one of his shows on Friday night and they were seen leaving the venue together. Check out the photos here!
