Amy Schumer's Response to the 'Gilded Glamour' Theme at Met Gala 2022 Is Getting Attention!

Amy Schumer has arrived to the 2022 Met Gala on Monday evening (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

It’s interesting to see Amy back at the Met Gala as she slammed the event a few years back and claimed she would never return!

On the red carpet, Amy was asked what the theme means to her and she responded, “Um, a vibrator. You know what I’m gonna say. It’s ridiculous.”

About her outfit, she added, “Everyone’s always at home [wondering] what Amy Schumer’s going to be wearing.”

The dress code for the event is “Gilded Glamour” and it’s inspired by the Costume Institute’s exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Guests are asked to “embody the grandeur—and perhaps the dichotomy—of Gilded Age New York,” a period that stretched from 1870 to 1890. The official co-chairs this year are Regina King, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Lin-Manuel Miranda.
