At age 11, Sydney decided to make her case to her parents, so she ended up creating a slideshow presentation that outlined a multi-year plan.
“My parents thought I was wanting to be a princess, that it wasn’t real. You couldn’t touch it. I was from a smaller town,” she told host Jimmy Fallon. “So, I put together a five-year business plan presentation about what could happen if they let me!”
When Jimmy asked how she made the presentation, the actress replied: “I just Googled a lot. Google has a lot of information!”
She went on to say that her parents took her seriously, but it took her a little longer than five years to reach the goals she had outlined in her proposal.
“It was a little harder than I imagined,” Sydney admitted, adding that acting is “not as glamorous as you think it is.”
