When Calls The Heart's Erin Krakow & Chris McNally Have Some Thoughts On Where To Have Elizabeth & Lucas' Wedding

Over the weekend, Hallmark fans rejoiced as Elizabeth Thornton and Lucas Bouchard officially got engaged on the season finale of When Calls The Heart.

Elizabeth and Lucas, who confirmed their courtship at the end of season eight, put a ring on the relationship at the end of season nine and now Erin and Chris are looking forward to a wedding in the next season – which still has yet to be announced.

Chatting with Entertainment Tonight, Erin and Chris wondered just where the wedding would take place. Chris is secretly rooting for them to head to Paris to tie the knot, while a huge bash in Hope Valley is also on the table.

“I can see it happening either way, really, and I don’t want to get too attached to any version of it in my imagination because we’ve got some amazing writers who are going to come up with something wonderful, assuming of course we get married in a season 10,” Erin says.

She added, “I could see it going either way. I don’t know if it would be in Jack’s church, maybe somewhere else.”

For Chris, the upcoming wedding hasn’t really sunk in for him yet.

“I just take things one thing at a time, so if we get a [season] 10, then I’ll consider it.”

Beyond the wedding, Erin and Chris also opened up about the two navigating life as an engaged couple in season 10.

“I think that Elizabeth and Lucas are on the right track for a really beautiful love story, and they have little Jack to focus on,” Erin says. “Whether their family is complete, the three of them, or if it grows, there’s just an awful lot of love there between them, and yeah, I’m excited to see where it could go.”

Chris added that he’d be okay with the couple expanding their family, too.

“I’ll take more Hylands on set. Hyland’s a blast,” he said, referring to Hyland Goodrich, who plays little Jack.
