Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade, States Can Now Ban Abortion

The Supreme Court made a huge ruling on Friday (June 24).

The court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending federal protection of abortion rights. The ruling will leave the question of abortion rights to the states.

Since there is now no federal protection, it’s expected now that more than half of U.S. states may eventually make abortion fully illegal.
