Harry Styles Cancels Copenhagen Show at Last Minute - Find Out Why
Hours before Harry was set to take the stage, a mass shooting broke out at the Field’s mall not too far from the venue.
Copenhagen Police announced that several people were killed and numerous others were injured after the gunman, described as a 22-year-old man, opened fire at the mall, according to People.
Shortly after the news broke, Harry took to Twitter to announce that he was canceling the show.
“I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love,” Harry tweeted. “I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting.”
He continued, “I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H.”
Last month, Harry announced he was planning on donating $1 million of his tour proceeds to gun safety following the mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School in Texas.
I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love.
I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting.
I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H
