Freida Pinto to Star as Huma Abedin in TV Adaptation of Huma's Memoir 'Both/And'

Freida Pinto is taking on a new role.

According to Deadline, the 37-year-old actress is set to play Hillary Clinton‘s longtime advisor Huma Abedin in a new TV series.

Freida is currently developing the project, which is an adaptation of Huma‘s best-selling memoir Both/And, through her production company Freebird Films.

Huma got her start as an intern for Hillary Clinton in 1996 and currently works as her Chief of Staff. Her personal life made headlines after her ex-husband Anthony Weiner was involved in multiple sexting scandals.
