Julia Roberts to Receive Academy Museum Gala Icon Award

Julia Roberts is being recognized for her work in the entertainment industry.

According to Deadline, the 54-year-old actress will receive Academy Museum Gala Icon Award at the second annual Academy Museum Of Motion Pictures Gala this fall.

The outlet writes that the Icon Award is intended to celebrate “an artist whose career has had a significant global cultural impact.”

In addition, the Museum announces that its Host Committee will include Ariana DeBose, Awkwafina, Colman Domingo, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Eddie Redmayne, Eiza González, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Garner, Jonathan Majors, Judd Apatow & Leslie Mann, Leonardo DiCaprio, Letitia Wright, Regina Hall, Ruth Negga, and Selma Blair.
