Kaitlyn Dever's Romeo & Juliet Spin-Off Movie 'Rosaline' Gets First Look Photos & Release Date!

Kaitlyn Dever is starring in the upcoming Hulu Original movie Rosaline and the first photos have been released!

Rosaline is a fresh and comedic twist on Shakespeare’s classic love story “Romeo & Juliet,” told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin Rosaline (Dever), who also happens to be Romeo’s recent love interest. Heartbroken when Romeo (Kyle Allen) meets Juliet (Isabela Merced) and begins to pursue her, Rosaline schemes to foil the famous romance and win back her guy.

Also starring in the movie are Sean Teale, Minnie Driver, and Bradley Whitford. The screenplay was written by 500 Days of Summer‘s Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber and the film is based on the book “When You Were Mine” by Rebecca Serle.

Hulu has announced that the movie will begin streaming on October 14. The film will stream on Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories.
