Melissa Gorga Addresses Speculation She's Leaving 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Amid Teresa Giudice Drama

Melissa Gorga is setting the record straight.

On Thursday (August 11), the 43-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star and husband Joe Gorga opened up about why they decided at the last minute to skip attending his sister Teresa Giudice‘s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas.

During the podcast, Melissa teased that while they were recently filming the season 13 finale of RHONJ, “there was a little aggression from certain people that could have been a little scary.”

After hearing Melissa and Joe‘s comments, many fans took this to mean that they were going to be leaving the show.

Melissa then took to her Instagram Story to let everyone know she and Joe have plans on quitting RHONJ as of right now.

“People are taking pieces from my podcast and assuming I’m leaving the show,” Melissa wrote. “This is how rumors get started. I never said I was leaving the show. I was just clarifying how we felt after a difficult weekend. We have no plans on leaving. #RHONJ.”

Melissa and Joe first joined RHONJ for season three in 2011.

Recently, Louie addressed a rumor that was circulating about Joe and Melissa skipping his and Teresa‘s wedding.
