Elon Musk Slams the Amazon's 'Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power' - See His Thoughts

“Tolkien is turning in his grave,” Elon tweeted out Monday (September 5). His critique became more pointed in a follow-up message.

“Almost every male character so far is a coward, a jerk or both,” Elon added. “Only Galadriel is brave, smart and nice.”

While Elon‘s opinion was met with some support from his fans, others discarded it. His opinion caused a stir. However, Elon had a clear response to allegations that critics of the show are racist.

Some have slammed critics of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for being racist as complaints have stemmed from the diverse cast. However, Elon hit back at those naysayers in yet another tweet.

“Those who claim any criticism of Rings of Power means you’re racist are outing themselves as closet racists,” he wrote.

Despite the controversy, the series debuted with strong viewing numbers and there are already plans to introduce a fan-favorite character for the second season!
