7 'SNL' Stars Exit Ahead of New Season, Lorne Michaels Reacts to News

Lorne Michaels is speaking out about Saturday Night Live and the seven shocking cast member exits that happened at the end of last season.

“This will be a transition year, and the change years are always difficult,” the longtime SNL exec said after losing 7 cast members. He did add that it’s “exciting” going into the new season, however, because “there are new people and things are changing and a different generation comes into the show.”
